Benefit Systems will pay a record dividend of PLN 41 per share

The General Meeting of Shareholders adopted a resolution on the payment of dividend in the amount of over PLN 120 million, which constitutes 87% of the Group’s consolidated net profit for 2022 and will translate into a payment of PLN 41 per share. The dividend day was set for 15 September and the payment for 29 September 2023.

– The condition of the Benefit Systems Group is very good, which is why we can pay a record dividend and at the same time implement plans related to the development of our portfolio, including further expansion of the network of our own fitness clubs in Poland and on foreign markets – says Bartosz Józefiak, Management Board Member at Benefit Systems responsible for the Group’s finances.

The Benefit Systems Group reported very good results for 2022 (consolidated operating profit of PLN 213 million – press release) and for the first quarter of 2023 (consolidated operating profit of PLN 66 million – press release). At the end of March 2023, the Group had a net cash position of PLN 223 million. In the first quarter of this year the number of cards in Poland increased by 122,000 and on foreign markets – by 30,000.

– We are satisfied with the situation in the second quarter. We can see that the positive trends that supported us in the previous quarters continue. Therefore, we maintain our expectations for the whole year in the context of volume growth, meaning an increase in the number of cards by 280 to 300,000 and an improvement in the operating margin – explains Bartosz Józefiak and adds: – We have entered the holiday season, which we use to work on the product offer and the integration of recently acquired clubs.
