Benefit Systems has opened the 19th My Fitness Place club in Krakow
In October, the 19th club of the My Fitness Place network appeared on the fitness map of Krakow. A new feature is the recovery zone for comprehensive regeneration after training. Benefit Systems focuses on the high availability of clubs and responds to the needs of agglomeration residents who want to combine work, household chores and physical activity in a flexible way. The newest My Fitness Place club is situated in the Krowodrza Górka housing estate at 12 Krowoderskich Zuchów Street.
– The nineteenth My Fitness Place club in Krakow is the result of our consistently implemented strategy. We want to provide as many inhabitants of Polish agglomerations as possible with modern, professionally equipped and friendly training spaces, while educating society about the positive impact of physical activity on physical and mental health – explains Tomasz Groń, Managing Director responsible for fitness club networks at Benefit Systems. – We also attach great importance to the atmosphere in our clubs and providing tools thanks to which the sense of obligation is replaced by the joy and satisfaction that trainees can derive from physical activity. We structure our offer in such a way that it supports the trainees in achieving their goals – he adds.
Training, regeneration, relaxation
The new club was designed and equipped in accordance with the standards adopted by the network. The main part of the facility are modular training zones enabling comprehensive training, including cardio, fitness, functional, machines, stretching and free weights.
A new feature in Krakow’s facilities is the recovery zone.
– This zone enables regeneration after training, which is an important element of maintaining physical fitness. We have prepared it – both in terms of space and equipment – to best suit the needs of the trainees. Its greatest advantage is its versatility. It can be successfully used by both beginners and advanced people – says Magdalena Szwed, Vice President responsible for product development at Benefit Systems Fitness Unit.
The recovery zone is the perfect ending to intense training and a panacea for tired muscles. There is a multimedia kiosk with a database of exercises and detailed instructions on how to perform them. Self-massage is also an excellent solution and can be performed using available rollers. Each person determines the length of the recovery session independently, depending on their needs and time possibilities.
The relaxation zone with a dry and infrared sauna is also an ideal way to regenerate and relax after training.
Those who prefer group classes have an extensive schedule of classes at their disposal, including Body&Mind (Pilates, Healthy Spine), Les Mills, dance classes (Salsation®) and strengthening classes (ABT and Full Body Workout).
Club availability – we follow our customers
The new club is situated in the northern part of Krakow, in a place conveniently connected to other districts of the city. It covers an area of 1.6 square metres in an office and service building.
– By expanding the network of our clubs, we try to respond to the needs of both customers using passes and MultiSport card users as widely as possible. In the case of large urban centres, it is crucial to evenly cover the area with the offer. We follow our customers. We try to provide them with an attractive space for physical activity in those places where they spend a lot of time. Thanks to our consistent actions, we can talk about the high availability of clubs in our portfolio – explains Tomasz Groń.
Currently, there are 19 My Fitness Place clubs available in Krakow. The twentieth is in Zabierzów, approximately 12 km from the centre of the capital of Małopolska. The total area of the clubs is almost 28,000 square metres, with over half of the clubs having an area of 1,500 square metres or greater. Almost half of the facilities (nine) are located in office and service buildings, while six of them in shopping centres.
– We want to be close to our customers, which is why we value cooperation with owners of office and commercial space. We offer attractive services, personalised to the needs of local communities. It is also worth remembering that physical activity is not a passing trend. On the contrary, the fitness industry has great development potential, and therefore we are focused on long-term cooperation with our partners – says Tomasz Groń. – At the same time, our customers have convenient access to clubs, which makes it is easier for them to combine work, daily duties and physical activity – he adds.
