Benefit Systems and Nextbike Polska are continuing their partnership
MultiSport cardholders will be able to use traditional Nextbike city bikes for free for one hour a day for the next three years. Under the new agreement, they will gain access to a fleet of over 18,000 bicycles in dozens of Polish cities.
Nextbike bicycles will be available to users with an active MultiSport Plus, MultiSport Light, MultiSport Classic, MultiSport Student, MultiSport Senior, or MultiSport Kids card. The Multisport Kids Aqua children’s card is excluded from this offer. The offering will include such popular systems as Veturilo in Warsaw, Wrocław City Bike, and Metrorower, which operates in the Metropolis GZM. Using city bikes as part of this offer does not affect the number of visits to sports facilities or cardholders’ ability to participate in other sports and recreational activities available through the MultiSport Programme.
– The primary goal of the MultiSport Programme is to promote an active lifestyle. We want to be there for Poles both during their scheduled workouts at sports facilities and during their everyday, spontaneous activities, such as cycling. According to the MultiSport Index 2025 survey, Poles cycle not only for transportation purposes. For more than half of them, it is a sport they practise regularly. One in four cyclists considers physical activity an important part of their lifestyle, and one in three participates in various sports. The MultiSport Programme offers access to over 55 sports and recreational activities at 11,000 partner facilities across six countries. Across all markets, the sports cards offered by Benefit Systems are used by over 2.5 million people, and the MultiSport card is currently the most popular sports programme in Poland.

This trend is best illustrated by the numbers. Between 2023 and 2025 alone, MultiSport cardholders rented bicycles more than 1.33 million times, accounting for over 5% of all bicycle rentals nationwide.
A survey conducted by UCE Research on behalf of Nextbike shows that 44.5% of Poles already report using city bikes on a daily or monthly basis, while 17.5% of us switch to them at least a few times a year. For many respondents, they are now an integral part of urban transportation, used primarily for practical purposes in their daily commutes:
- 37.8% use city bikes to commute to school, work, or college,
- 32.3% use this form of transportation to handle everyday tasks, such as shopping, visiting government offices, or socialising,
- 29.8% choose to bike to get to the city centre quickly and avoid traffic jams,
- 17.8% use city bikes to reach other modes of transportation.
