Benefit Systems closes the year with new clubs in Silesia
Benefit Systems S.A. ends 2023 by expanding its club network with five Interfit Club facilities. This is another network in the largest urban area in Poland that is joining the Benefit Systems Group this year. The purchase of 75% of shares in the Silesian gym network was worth PLN 18.1 million. As a result of the acquisition, the network of Benefit Systems’ own clubs in Poland will increase to 218 facilities.
Interfit modern facilities operate in five cities: Chorzów (2000 m²), Chrzanów (1044 m²), Gliwice (1221 m²), Rydułtowy near Rybnik (885 m²) and Zawiercie (1510 m²). As a result of the transaction, the area of Benefit Systems’ own clubs in Poland will increase by a total of nearly 6,700 m².
– The purchase of shares in another network of clubs in the Upper Silesian urban area is the culmination of our activities to strengthen Benefit Systems’ own network. In total, we have acquired 42 facilities in the most important cities and regions of Poland this year – says Marcin Fojudzki, Management Board Member at Benefit Systems. – Strengthening the attractiveness and advantages of the MultiSport Programme remains our strategic goal. We have very good prospects for further growth in the number of MultiSport Programme users, which already exceeded 1.4 million at the beginning of November, as well as for the development of the fitness industry in Poland. Therefore, next year we will certainly be open to interesting investment opportunities in this market – adds Marcin Fojudzki.
Benefit Systems ends the year with 218 facilities within its own network. This is the result of acquisitions, which in 2023 included the purchase of facilities of such networks as Interfit Club (5), Max-Gym (3), Active Fitness Club (2), Calyspo Fitness (21), Gravitan (2), Studio Energia (1), Manufaktura Zdrowia (2) and Saturn Fitness (6).
