Benefit Systems Group acquires 18 fitness clubs in Bulgaria

The portfolio of foreign sports facilities belonging to the Benefit Systems Group has expanded to include facilities located in the capital of Bulgaria. The transaction to purchase the Flais club network was carried out by Next Level Fitness OOD (a subsidiary of Benefit Systems S.A.) after obtaining a positive opinion from the Bulgarian Competition Commission and covered 15 operating fitness clubs as well as three facilities under construction.

Benefit Systems Group acquires 100 percent of shares in companies managing clubs located in the capital of Bulgaria, as well as the rights to the Flais trademark. Following the takeover, the clubs will continue to operate under the current name.

To date, Benefit Systems Group has managed 15 fitness clubs in Bulgaria. As a result of the transaction, the portfolio in this country increased to 33 facilities. In total, the group currently manages 60 fitness clubs on foreign markets.

Flais is one of the leading fitness networks on the Bulgarian market, with facilities operating primarily in the capital. The clubs are spacious, modern and well-equipped premises with an attractive offer of sports activities, which are very popular with MultiSport Programme users, of whom there are 140,000 in Bulgaria.
