Benefit Systems Group Strategy until 2027

On 18 November this year the group announced its strategy until 2027, which assumes achieving 2.9 –3.1 million sports card users, 600–650 own fitness clubs in attractive locations and from PLN 5.7 to 6.3 billion in consolidated revenues in 2027.

Comment from the Management Board of Benefit Systems:

Emilia Rogalewicz, Management Board Member at Benefit Systems responsible for sales strategy, product and service development and customer service: We want to be the leader in the employee benefits market in the categories of sports cards and wellbeing, as well as a leading operator of fitness clubs in all markets in which we operate. Our analyses clearly show that the benefits

market is developing towards solutions supporting wellbeing and quality of life, which is why we will focus on multi-component benefits in this area. We can also see that employers strive to cooperate with suppliers integrating various categories and segments of these benefits, which is why we plan to focus the development of our business on corporate wellbeing solutions in the coming years. We have ambitious goals for sports cards at the level of 3 million users by 2027 and several hundred thousand new MultiLife and MyBenefit users.

Marcin Fojudzki, Management Board Member at Benefit Systems responsible for the company’s finances and investor relations, legal department, ESG, mergers and acquisitions: In our strategy, the key factor of competitive advantage is and will be the widest access to sports and recreation infrastructure, including the largest network of our own fitness clubs, as well as the effective use of the potential of new technologies that support multi-channel service for all stakeholders. Thanks to the adopted strategy, we want to maintain high growth rates and an attractive level of profitability. We assume revenues of PLN 5.7–6.3 billion and EBIT profitability of 17%–18%. We expect that in the coming years our business on foreign markets will grow faster than in Poland, therefore the group’s operating profitability in 2027 will be slightly lower than currently reported. We have ambitious goals that can be achieved in accordance with the adopted assumptions if current trends are maintained, appropriate cost discipline and effective use of the group’s potential and know-how.

From gyms to wellness centres: how fitness clubs in Kraków have changed over the years.
In the past, the gym was primarily associated with barbells and weights. The offering was simple, and the space was dedicated primarily to strength training. Today, a fitness club is much more than that: you can practise Reformer Pilates, train for HYROX competitions, access physiotherapy services, use the sauna, or unwind after work in the recovery zone. Increasingly, you don’t have to be an avid athlete to feel at ease in such a place.

Will new pay transparency regulations consign classic spreadsheets to the dustbin of history? HR needs a new data architecture.
Implementing the pay transparency directive is not merely a legal and organisational challenge for HR teams. It is also a test of companies’ technological maturity. Employers will evaluate positions, assign employees to appropriate pay levels, analyse the pay gap, and prepare salary information taking all variables into account. In practice, this may entail working with large volumes of sensitive data, where relying solely on spreadsheets for processing can become less efficient and more prone to errors.
