Bydgoszcz is becoming stronger on the Polish fitness map. Zdrofit opens its third fitness club in the city.

In June, the Zdrofit fitness club network was joined by a new facility located in the modern Immobile K3 complex at 3 Kościeleckich Square in the heart of Bydgoszcz. This is the network’s third club in the city. Zdrofit currently has 119 locations throughout Poland.

The new Zdrofit club was opened just a few minutes’ walk from the Old Town of Bydgoszcz. The Immobile K3 complex where it is located is not only an attractive commercial space, but also an important point on the city’s services map. The 957-m² club was designed to provide a comprehensive range of facilities to people at various stages of their fitness journey.

It features complementary cardio, free weights, machines and fitness zones. Customers also have access to a Finnish sauna, which is perfect after an intensive workout, and a fit bar – a place for regeneration and meetings. This layout is in line with the brand’s philosophy: to create professional, friendly exercise spaces for everyone, regardless of age, condition or previous experience.

Flexible and diverse offer

Zdrofit Immobile K3 offers a rich schedule of group classes. Participants can choose from record-breaking Body & Mind workouts such as Pilates and yoga, classes for active seniors or Les Mills Bodypump® – dynamic strength training combining endurance and metabolic elements. The offer has been selected to meet various needs and movement capabilities, in line with the principle of “Move how you like it,” which the network promotes in all its locations.

Each new Zdrofit club – including the one in Bydgoszcz – offers support as part of an onboarding package that makes it easier to start regular exercise, as well as access to the ZdrowAppka mobile application. It can be used to plan visits, monitor one’s progress and take advantage of dedicated training plans.

– The opening of the third Zdrofit club in Bydgoszcz is another step in implementing our mission to increase the availability of professional training spaces throughout Poland. On the one hand, this is a response to the growing awareness of the impact of physical activity on the quality of life and health, and on the other, consistent encouragement of Poles to engage in regular activity available at your fingertips – says Tomasz Groń, Managing Director of Fitness Club Networks at Benefit Systems. – At the same time, as after the pandemic we often work in a hybrid model and want to have easy access to services that support wellbeing, we try to keep our clubs as close to residents as possible. Hence our presence both in office buildings – as in the case of Zdrofit Immobile, and – as in the case of Zdrofit Balaton – in the centre of a housing estate.

Third club in the region, 119th in Poland

Zdrofit, owned by Benefit Systems – a leader in the area of non-financial benefits supporting employee wellbeing – is the largest network of fitness clubs in the country. So far, there has been one club of this brand in Bydgoszcz – at 33 Skłodowskiej-Curie Strett in the Balaton retail park. In June, it was joined by a new facility in the Immobile K3 complex, and almost simultaneously, the rebranding process of the Step One club, located in the Focus shopping centre, was completed. As a result, Zdrofit now has three locations in Bydgoszcz, which significantly increases the availability of fitness services for city residents.

Zdrofit are fitness clubs owned by Benefit Systems. The clubs promote healthy exercise in line with the philosophy that physical activity is available to anyone who wants to take care of their health, regardless of age, body shape or previous achievements. Currently, Polish residents can exercise in 119 Zdrofit clubs. As many as 63 of them operate in Warsaw. The remaining ones are in Tricity, Szczecin, Kielce, Koszalin, Toruń, Lublin and Elbląg.

Benefit Systems has been operating on the Polish market for over two decades and is one of the leaders in providing non-financial benefits that support employee wellbeing. The company is the creator of the MultiSport Programme, which enables physical activity in sports facilities throughout the country. Its portfolio also includes the MyBenefit cafeteria platform and the MultiLife wellbeing programme. For several years now, the company’s sports offer has been developed on foreign markets, including the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Bulgaria, and Croatia. The Benefit Systems Group also operates fitness clubs (in Poland it is responsible for Fabryka Formy, FitFabric, Fitness Academy, Good Luck, My Fitness Place, Saturn Fitness, StepONE, Total Fitness and Zdrofit networks). An important area of Benefit Systems activities is the promotion of an active lifestyle at every stage of life, which is why the company implements initiatives supporting physical activity of children, adults, and seniors, also as part of the MultiSport Foundation. Since 2018, Benefit Systems has been part of the global B Corp initiative, bringing together companies operating and engaging in solving the most important social problems. From gyms to wellness centres: how fitness clubs in Kraków have changed over the years.
In the past, the gym was primarily associated with barbells and weights. The offering was simple, and the space was dedicated primarily to strength training. Today, a fitness club is much more than that: you can practise Reformer Pilates, train for HYROX competitions, access physiotherapy services, use the sauna, or unwind after work in the recovery zone. Increasingly, you don’t have to be an avid athlete to feel at ease in such a place.

Will new pay transparency regulations consign classic spreadsheets to the dustbin of history? HR needs a new data architecture.
Implementing the pay transparency directive is not merely a legal and organisational challenge for HR teams. It is also a test of companies’ technological maturity. Employers will evaluate positions, assign employees to appropriate pay levels, analyse the pay gap, and prepare salary information taking all variables into account. In practice, this may entail working with large volumes of sensitive data, where relying solely on spreadsheets for processing can become less efficient and more prone to errors.
