New Fabryka Formy club in Wodzisław Śląski

The 23rd Fabryka Formy club and the network’s first facility in Wodzisław Śląski was opened at the beginning of November, reaching the record pre-sale registrations level. The new club offers modern rooms for bicycle training and group classes, a well-equipped gym, and starting from January – four squash courts.

The new Fabryka Formy club has an area of approximately 1,800 square meters and features a club section divided into various training zones, including a separate bicycle room and another one for fitness classes, a well-equipped gym and four squash courts (available from January 2023) designed both for people who are just starting their adventure with this unique sport as well as for advanced players. In addition, there are dry saunas available in the locker rooms for relaxation after exercise. The club provides an introductory meeting with a trainer during which one can learn how to train effectively and safely, get to know the results of one’s body composition analysis or the results of health tests and choose classes from the schedule.

– In addition to well-known zones for individual training, the club’s offer also includes classes strengthening muscles and fitness, such as zumba or pilates, as well as high-intensity classes, e.g.: Fat Killer with elements of endurance and strength training that aim to reduce body fat quickly. The fitness classes offer is varied to ensure the appropriate level and intensity of training for both beginners and advanced club members. The club in Wodzisław Śląski also has an additional advantage, namely as many as four squash courts and squash is the activity that improves motor coordination and fitness, increases efficiency and is an ideal way to reduce stress for many people – explains Tomasz Groń, Managing Director at Fabryka Formy network.

The Fabryka Formy club was created in the Park Handlowy shopping centre – a convenient location for the residents of the city, including the Osiedle XXX-lecia housing estate. The place is also easy to reach by car from other towns, e.g.: Rybnik, Żory or Jastrzębie-Zdrój in just half an hour (there is a free parking lot available in front of the building). We observe a growing demand for physical activity and counteracting the negative effects of the pandemic. This can be seen from the level of pre-sales of passes to the club in Wodzisław, which reached a record level in the history of the Fabryka Formy network. There is also a clear global change in the narrative around physical activity and motivation to exercise, which is increasingly related to physical and mental wellbeing, as confirmed by Tomasz Groń:

– We can clearly see that Poles want to exercise more. This increased interest can also be seen in our clubs. Many customers in our facilities emphasise how important returning to normality, rebuilding their condition after isolation or COVID-19 as well as reducing weight or stress is for them. It is worth taking care of these needs by creating optimal conditions for using the offer of fitness clubs.

According to the MultiSport Index 2022 survey, currently 64% of inhabitants of the Silesian Voivodeship are physically active, of which one in five chooses training in fitness clubs.

The Fabryka Formy club in Wodzisław Śląski operates from Monday through Friday between 06:30 and 22:30 as well as on Saturdays and Sundays between 08:00 and 20:00. It accepts MultiSport partner cards.

Costly 147.7 million days in six months. More physical activity would help the economy save billions.
According to the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) data, in the first half of 2026, Poles spent nearly 150 million days on sick leave – the result similar to that of the corresponding period last year. Lifestyle diseases, including heart disease, type 2 diabetes, and hypertension, are common causes of absenteeism. Surveys show that the incidence of illness and, consequently, the number of days spent on sick leave, could drop significantly if we, as a society, engaged in regular physical activity. Analyses conducted on behalf of Benefit Systems show that physical inactivity is a systemic phenomenon.
