New My Fitness Place clubs in response to the trend of supporting health and self-care

On 4 January, two new large-format My Fitness Place clubs were opened in Krakow. The facilities with a spa zone, salt walls and saunas offer solutions supporting physical health and regeneration after training. They also enable strengthening immunity, relaxation and return to mental balance.

Each of the new clubs has about two thousand square meters featuring various training zones, including gyms with top-class equipment, tartan treadmills, which are perfect for running training or long jumping, fitness rooms for group classes and fit bars with products supporting the proper diet of physically active people.

The clubs are equipped with new training equipment from Technogym, the official supplier during eight Olympic Games. Professional machines and free weights allow for safe exercises, provide appropriate training stimuli and the opportunity to work on individual muscle groups.

In addition to individual training zones, there are spaces for group activities, the offer of which is very wide: from the hugely popular High Heels classes, which build not only muscles but also confidence, to Les Mills BODYPUMP® programmes of moderate weight exercises with high repetitions, to Les Mills BODYATTACK®, which strengthen the whole body, develop fitness and speed, or classes on stationary bikes that improve the body’s efficiency and enable fat burning.

When designing the new My Fitness Place facilities, local health needs were also taken into consideration and solutions supporting the respiratory and immune systems of exercisers were added. The clubs offer a spa zone with special salt walls that have a positive effect on the respiratory system, which will be appreciated by all who deal with smog. There are also dry and infrared saunas where people can relax after intense exercise or help their body in removing toxins.

The format of fitness clubs, where one can not only train or take care of regular physical activity but also of one’s health or relaxation after exercise or a hard day at work, is a response to the new needs of customers.

– We see a strong trend in the society to rebuild after the pandemic and months of isolation. The approach of Poles to broadly understood physical activity is also changing, which has become an inseparable element of self-care, both in the sphere of appearance and physical health as well as mental condition. Taking care of one’s wellbeing and mental balance, in which physical activity is of great importance, is becoming more and more significant. We carefully analyse trends to better complement our clubs’ offer
– explains Jakub Grabowski, Finance Director at Benefit Systems Fitness Unit, which manages the My Fitness Place network.

Both clubs feature free parking and accept MultiSport partner cards.

Costly 147.7 million days in six months. More physical activity would help the economy save billions.
According to the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) data, in the first half of 2026, Poles spent nearly 150 million days on sick leave – the result similar to that of the corresponding period last year. Lifestyle diseases, including heart disease, type 2 diabetes, and hypertension, are common causes of absenteeism. Surveys show that the incidence of illness and, consequently, the number of days spent on sick leave, could drop significantly if we, as a society, engaged in regular physical activity. Analyses conducted on behalf of Benefit Systems show that physical inactivity is a systemic phenomenon.
