The Czech Factory Pro network has joined the portfolio of the Benefit Systems Group’s foreign fitness clubs

Benefit Systems increases its presence on the Czech fitness market and takes over two Factory Pro network clubs. After the acquisition, the number of the company’s own clubs in Prague will increase to 16 (19 throughout the country). The acquired clubs are very popular among Czech MultiSport card users.

Factory Pro has been operating on the Czech market since 1999 and specialises in fitness and wellness services. Currently, the network has two clubs in Prague (Na Knížecí and Hradčanská). These are modern clubs with an attractive and wide range of activities as well as sports machines that are very popular among users of the MultiSport Programme. One of them was opened last month.

– Thanks to the development of the offer and new locations (openings and acquisitions), we systematically secure places for exercise that are attractive to MultiSport card users. We want to maintain the dynamic pace of the Group’s development, which is why we are analysing the market in terms of further investments, including organic ones – says Marcin Fojudzki, Management Board Member at Benefit Systems, and adds: – In terms of results, the first half of the year was strong in all markets. We are positive about the coming months and the effects of the activities currently being implemented. We continue to maintain our assumptions regarding the achievement of the Group’s growth goals in 2024, including an increase in the number of sports cards in Poland and abroad.

After the acquisition, the Group will manage over 40 fitness facilities on foreign markets, 19 of which operate in the Czech Republic, where MultiSport cards are used by over 230,000 people.

Benefit Systems has been operating on the Polish market for over two decades and is one of the leaders in providing non-financial benefits that support employee well-being. The company is the creator of the MultiSport Programme, which enables physical activity in sports facilities throughout the country. Its portfolio also includes the MyBenefit cafeteria platform and the MultiLife wellbeing programme. For several years now, the company’s sports offer has been developed on foreign markets, including the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Bulgaria, and Croatia. The Benefit Systems Group operates over 240 fitness clubs on four markets (in Poland it is responsible for the Active Fitness Club, Fabryka Formy, FitFabric, Fitness Academy, Good Luck, Max-Gym, My Fitness Place, Saturn Fitness, StepONE, Total Fitness and Zdrofit networks). An important area of Benefit Systems activities is the promotion of an active lifestyle at every stage of life, which is why the company implements initiatives supporting physical activity of children, adults, and seniors, also as part of the MultiSport Foundation. Since 2018, Benefit Systems has been part of the global B Corp initiative, bringing together companies operating and engaging in solving the most important social problems. From gyms to wellness centres: how fitness clubs in Kraków have changed over the years.
In the past, the gym was primarily associated with barbells and weights. The offering was simple, and the space was dedicated primarily to strength training. Today, a fitness club is much more than that: you can practise Reformer Pilates, train for HYROX competitions, access physiotherapy services, use the sauna, or unwind after work in the recovery zone. Increasingly, you don’t have to be an avid athlete to feel at ease in such a place.

Will new pay transparency regulations consign classic spreadsheets to the dustbin of history? HR needs a new data architecture.
Implementing the pay transparency directive is not merely a legal and organisational challenge for HR teams. It is also a test of companies’ technological maturity. Employers will evaluate positions, assign employees to appropriate pay levels, analyse the pay gap, and prepare salary information taking all variables into account. In practice, this may entail working with large volumes of sensitive data, where relying solely on spreadsheets for processing can become less efficient and more prone to errors.
