The MultiSport Summer Game is on!

The MultiSport Summer Game – a sports competition with attractive prizes for engaging in physical activity – has just started. In this year’s edition participants will be awarded for visiting sports facilities, exercising regularly, etc. The collected points can also be exchanged for financial support for selected foundations. The gamification will last until August 20.

During the holidays, every MultiSport card holder can take up sports challenges and win medals or awards for their activity. This is all possible thanks to the Summer Game, a holiday gamification that has been carried out by Benefit Systems, the creator of the MultiSport card, for several years now. Its aim is to support card users in maintaining regular physical activity, which has a positive impact on their fitness and psychophysical health. This is particularly important because, according to the MultiSport Index 2023 survey, 95% of physically active Poles claim that regular physical activity has a positive effect on their wellbeing, and 89% believe that it reduces stress and negative emotions.

How does the Summer Game work?

Thanks to the advanced online gamification platform, throughout the holidays MultiSport card users are engaged in an interactive process combining online and offline activities, which effectively motivates them to exercise regularly in over 5,000 sports and recreation facilities throughout Poland.

The Summer Game offers the opportunity to win attractive prizes in exchange for points accumulated while competing with other users. The programme rewards various forms of involvement, such as visiting new sports facilities, regular training, participation in educational quizzes or reading articles on an active lifestyle.

The points collected for completing specific tasks determine the player’s place in the ranking. The most persistent participants can receive numerous prizes, such as food processors, sports watches, headphones and vouchers. The latter can be won by anyone, regardless of their place in the ranking, which means that in the Summer Game everyone wins.

Take your MultiSport card on holiday

An additional advantage of the Summer Game is the possibility of using a wide range of summer activities in many towns (including tourist ones), which allows participants to continue training even during holidays.

We often use one type of activity in our city, but in the summer, it is worth visiting new places and trying different forms of training from among the 40 available ones as part of the MultiSport Programme. This is a great opportunity to diversify our exercises and enjoy active recreation. One can choose not only fitness clubs throughout Poland, but also summer swimming pools, rope parks, climbing walls, city bikes, kayaks, SUP boards and many other sports attractions. The list of facilities can be found HERE.

Help by being active

An important element of the Summer Game is also the opportunity to support the Dobry MultiUczynek programme, created by Benefit Systems in 2018. Through this initiative, participants can not only actively join sports gamification for their own health and better wellbeing, but also support the implementation of pro-social projects through their physical activity.

The concept is simple: game participants can donate points to selected charities. The points are then summed up and converted by Benefit Systems and MultiSport into actual financial support. The Rozwój Integracja Sport Foundation, the Veritas Foundation and the “Białe Orły” Sports Club are taking part in this year’s edition of the Summer Game.

From gyms to wellness centres: how fitness clubs in Kraków have changed over the years.
In the past, the gym was primarily associated with barbells and weights. The offering was simple, and the space was dedicated primarily to strength training. Today, a fitness club is much more than that: you can practise Reformer Pilates, train for HYROX competitions, access physiotherapy services, use the sauna, or unwind after work in the recovery zone. Increasingly, you don’t have to be an avid athlete to feel at ease in such a place.

Will new pay transparency regulations consign classic spreadsheets to the dustbin of history? HR needs a new data architecture.
Implementing the pay transparency directive is not merely a legal and organisational challenge for HR teams. It is also a test of companies’ technological maturity. Employers will evaluate positions, assign employees to appropriate pay levels, analyse the pay gap, and prepare salary information taking all variables into account. In practice, this may entail working with large volumes of sensitive data, where relying solely on spreadsheets for processing can become less efficient and more prone to errors.
