The Zdrofit network has increased the number of its locations in Warsaw and Toruń

Warsaw’s S4 clubs and Fabryka Formy in Toruń have joined Zdrofit – the largest fitness network in Poland, which after the changes has as many as 93 clubs throughout the country.

– S4 clubs and Toruń’s Fabryka Formy have joined the well-known and very popular Zdrofit brand. This change will guarantee customers access to the entire network as well as the standard of services and customer service known from Zdrofit clubs. This is good news for customers of the smaller S4 network as it means expanding training opportunities by several dozen locations, not to mention a significantly expanded portfolio of sports activities – says Tomasz Groń, managing director of fitness clubs owned by Benefit Systems.

Zdrofit clubs are situated in convenient communication points, providing customers with easy access to a wide range of various sports activities. Currently, the offer of the clubs can be used in Warsaw, the Tri-City, Szczecin, Włocławek, Płock and Kielce as well as in Toruń and Białystok. As part of the organised group classes, there are nearly a hundred formats to choose from, starting from body-shaping traning, through health-promoting and relaxing activities, to typical dance and martial arts-related classes. The clubs are equipped with safe, certified equipment for endurance, strength, and functional training. Zdrofit also offers wellness zones with saunas necessary for post-workout regeneration of the body. In selected locations one can use the services provided by physiotherapists (Zdrofit Zdrowe Miejsce medical facilities).

– When expanding our network, we take into consideration trends, but above all, the needs of our customers, which we monitor through regular surveys. We observe an increase in interest in fitness services and in awareness of their impact on prevention and improvement of the quality of life. We strive to encourage as many Poles as possible to be active, which is why it is crucial for us to minimise all barriers and fears related to fitness clubs. We promote safe physical activity that gives people energy and improves their wellbeing. We want club members to exercise in our clubs in the spirit of equal opportunities – adds Tomasz Groń.

This year’s MultiSport Index 2023 report shows that fitness clubs and gyms enjoy the greatest increase in popularity in recent months (a change of 11% compared to the previous survey). Currently, 42% of Poles exercise for better mental condition and 25% – for health prevention.

New locations that have joined the Zdrofit network:

Zdrofit is the largest fitness club network in Poland belonging to the Benefit Systems Capital Group. It has been encouraging healthy activity based on prevention, safety and wide availability for years. In accordance with the philosophy promoted by the brand, physical activity in the network’s clubs is available to anyone who wants to keep fit and healthy but also looking for a community which they can actively spend their free time with. The network’s clubs are situated in convenient communication points, providing customers with easy access to a wide range of various sports activities. Selected clubs also feature Zdrofit Zdrowe Miejsce medical facilities where one can use the services provided by physiotherapists. Zdrofit also provides solutions such as the Yes2Move.com training platform, currently bringing together over 1,000 training sessions conducted by nearly a hundred specialists and experts in physical activity and a healthy lifestyle. From gyms to wellness centres: how fitness clubs in Kraków have changed over the years.
In the past, the gym was primarily associated with barbells and weights. The offering was simple, and the space was dedicated primarily to strength training. Today, a fitness club is much more than that: you can practise Reformer Pilates, train for HYROX competitions, access physiotherapy services, use the sauna, or unwind after work in the recovery zone. Increasingly, you don’t have to be an avid athlete to feel at ease in such a place.

Will new pay transparency regulations consign classic spreadsheets to the dustbin of history? HR needs a new data architecture.
Implementing the pay transparency directive is not merely a legal and organisational challenge for HR teams. It is also a test of companies’ technological maturity. Employers will evaluate positions, assign employees to appropriate pay levels, analyse the pay gap, and prepare salary information taking all variables into account. In practice, this may entail working with large volumes of sensitive data, where relying solely on spreadsheets for processing can become less efficient and more prone to errors.
