Benefit Systems strengthens its offer in the Upper Silesian metropolitan area

Benefit Systems develops its own club portfolio with three Max-Gym facilities and two Active Fitness Clubs. As a result, the company will expand its product offer in the largest metropolitan area in the country, and the number of clubs within its own network in Poland will soon increase to 213. The transaction value was set at PLN 19 million.

The acquired Max-Gym clubs are situated in Sosnowiec (1,960 m²), Mysłowice (1,940 m²) and Dąbrowa Górnicza (1,640 m²). In addition to the traditional offer of individual workouts and group fitness classes as well as the possibility of regeneration after training (sauna), all three facilities also include Jump Max trampoline parks. The acquired Active Fitness Club facilities operate in Dąbrowa Górnicza (750 m²) and Zawiercie (904 m²).

– We already have over 1.4 million MultiSport Programme users in Poland and very encouraging forecasts for the further development of the fitness market. That is why we systematically strengthen our own club portfolio, both by opening new facilities and through acquisitions. The Max-Gym and Active Fitness networks purchased today will perfectly complement our offer in the Upper Silesian metropolitan area, which is already of strategic importance for the MultiSport Programme and has huge growth potential. All acquired clubs are profitable and we see prospects for further improvement of their operating results. Additionally, the technical condition of the facilities and their equipment allows us to assume that they will not require significant investment outlays in the coming years – says Marcin Fojudzki, Management Board Member at Benefit Systems.

The transaction is another strengthening of Benefit Systems’ own network this year, after the acquisitions of Calyspo Fitness (5) and Gravitan (2) clubs in October this year, Manufaktura Zdrowia and Studio Energia in recent months, and Saturn Fitness (6) and Calypso Fitness (16) in early 2023.
