Benefit Systems once again among the largest Corporate Income Tax (CIT) payers in Poland.

On 2 November 2026, the awards gala for the ranking of the largest Corporate Income Tax (CIT) payers for 2025 took place at the Warsaw Stock Exchange headquarters. Benefit Systems has once again taken first place in the “Wellbeing and Healthcare” category, confirming its strong market position and significant contribution to the public budget.

– We are delighted to receive an award in the “Wellbeing and Healthcare” category for the second time. This is particularly important to us, as our day-to-day work takes place in a field that directly impacts the health, wellbeing, and quality of life of the Poles. This recognition demonstrates that a focus on health can go hand in hand with responsible business development and a tangible contribution to the Polish economy. We are proud to be part of this process – says Emilia Rogalewicz, Benefit Systems Management Board Member.

Benefit Systems provides a comprehensive range of benefits that support physical activity, health, and employee wellbeing, combining operations in the field of wellbeing services with the development of its own network of fitness clubs. At the same time, it is expanding its operations in foreign markets, strengthening the position of Polish business on the international stage.

– Paying taxes is an important part of the company’s responsibility. The benefits offered support health and physical activity, while the corporate income tax paid helps fund public services and infrastructure. In this way, the company’s growth translates into actual benefits for society, both directly and through contributions to the state budget – adds Marcin Fojudzki, Benefit Systems Management Board Member.

The guest of honour at the event was the Minister of Finance and Economy, Andrzej Domański, who delivered the opening speech and took part in the diploma presentation ceremony. The gala brought together representatives of companies that make a significant contribution to the state budget and reliably fulfil their tax obligations. The event was organised by the editorial team of XYZ.pl.

Climbing – a sport that exercises both body and mind

Kraków is sometimes referred to as the climbing capital of Poland. On one hand, it offers access to an extensive network of indoor facilities, while on the other, it is situated close to natural climbing areas – most notably the Kraków-Częstochowa Upland. Partly because of international competitions, the popularity of climbing is growing, not only in the context of rock climbing, but also in forms focused exclusively on artificial walls. As a result, climbing walls bring together enthusiasts of various forms of the sport – people who enjoy being active in the company of others, such as groups of friends and families with children, as well as those seeking a workout for both body and mind.

Costly 147.7 million days in six months. More physical activity would help the economy save billions.

According to the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) data, in the first half of 2026, Poles spent nearly 150 million days on sick leave – the result similar to that of the corresponding period last year. Lifestyle diseases, including heart disease, type 2 diabetes, and hypertension, are common causes of absenteeism. Surveys show that the incidence of illness and, consequently, the number of days spent on sick leave, could drop significantly if we, as a society, engaged in regular physical activity. Analyses conducted on behalf of Benefit Systems show that physical inactivity is a systemic phenomenon.
