Online workouts, consultations with dietitians and personal trainers, individual nutrition plans, development programmes and games for children are just some of the elements offered by the MultiSport Programme available online. The brand is preparing new products to support a healthy lifestyle and work at home.
With the closure of sports facilities in Poland, the MultiSport brand has moved its offer to the Internet space. In the first place, users of active sports cards could benefit from dedicated online workout sessions as well as live classes conducted by partner sports facilities.
– Developing a new, virtual version of the MultiSport Programme was the first and most important stage of adapting the service to the changed market situation. We wanted to create a solution that would enable effective continuation of physical activity at home on the one hand and would support sports facilities that were closed and found themselves in a very difficult situation on the other hand – says Adam Radzki, Management Board Member at Benefit Systems, the company that created the MultiSport Programme.
By the end of April, together with the MultiSport brand users completed over 300,000 workouts which are made available on a special platform, www.kartamultisport.pl.
Healthy lifestyle during quarantine
The analysis of the activity of MultiSport Programme users shows that nearly 37% of people choose online workouts strengthening muscles, 25% opt for workouts dedicated to joint activity with children, 22% train to improve their body's performance, and 16% use relaxation and correct posture support training.
Interestingly, the time of isolation is also conducive to building healthy habits and makes us more eager to care for proper nutrition. During the last two weeks of March, i.e. since the introduction of nationwide lockdown, users downloaded twice as many personalised nutrition plans as at the beginning of the month. This trend continued also in April. Educational materials in the form of 30-day challenges that support elimination of unhealthy habits are also twice as popular. Noting these needs, the brand decided to expand its offer with free online consultations in the form of video calls with dietitians and personal trainers. Users can also take advantage of online cooking workshops.
Healthy aspects of remote work
The creators of the MultiSport card also decided to respond to the needs of employees and employers who have been operating in the home office mode for over a month. There were podcasts and webinars with management experts as well as physical exercise suggestions that help build a comfortable remote work experience prepared. From May 11, users will be able to take advantage of special educational materials that support stress reduction. The offer will include a seven-week mindfulness course enriched with meditation training.
The MultiSport card users can also benefit from a free two-month English language course and access to a library of audiobooks and e-books. In turn, a series of fairy tales read by Agnieszka Więdłocha and video materials with proposals of sport activities were prepared for the youngest.
