Ten good Benefit Systems practices in the 24th edition of the Responsible Business Forum report.

Benefit Systems was once again among the companies distinguished in the “Responsible Business in Poland. Good Practices” report – the most important review of CSR and ESG activities in the country, prepared by the Responsible Business Forum. Benefit Systems’ highlighted practices include initiatives related to employee wellbeing, local community activation, promotion of psychophysical health among customers and users, and responsible organisational management.

For over two decades, the Responsible Business Forum report has been documenting the specific activities of companies that are committed to building value that goes beyond financial results. The publication is a point of reference for organisations interested in monitoring trends in responsible management and searching for proven solutions. The presence of ten Benefit Systems initiatives confirms the assumptions of the Benefit Systems Group’s ESG strategy, which combines business aspects with social activities.

From children’s physical activity to expert knowledge on wellbeing

Benefit Systems’ distinguished practices include activities aimed at various stakeholder groups – employees, consumers, local communities and partners. The reported initiatives are in line with the guidelines of the ISO 26000 standard, the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the requirements of the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS).

Implementation of a structured due diligence process within the Benefit Systems Group.

– Each of Benefit Systems’ highlighted practices begins with a specific need: a child with posture problems, a senior seeking exercise and contact with people, an employee who wants to take care of their psychophysical condition and development, or an employer for whom creating a friendly and responsible organisational culture is an important area. We try to respond to these needs in a long-term perspective, not in a one-off manner. That is why we have been running most of the highlighted programmes for years, both within the company and in its surroundings – says Karolina Gromke, ESG Team Leader at Benefit Systems.

Practices embedded in the ESG strategy

The highlighted initiatives share a common foundation – the Benefit Systems Group’s ESG #BETTER_LIFE Strategy, which assumes the implementation of specific and measurable goals by 2027, corresponding to the group’s significant influence. The most important strategic assumptions include the minimum number of training hours per year per person and the extension of ethics training to all employees in the group. An important place in the strategic goals is also occupied by projects implemented by the MultiSport Foundation, focused on education and sports activation of children, adults and seniors throughout Poland. The ESG strategy also identifies business parameters, such as the number of sports card users, which highlight the group’s maximisation of its positive impact on the physical activation of society.

An example of how strategy is translated into daily management is the due diligence process highlighted in the report. It results from the Responsible Business Conduct Policy adopted in 2025, which organises the way in which the group identifies and mitigates the risks of negative impacts on its stakeholders – both in its own operations and in the value chain.

– The policy addresses all areas of due diligence contained in the updated OECD Guidelines. This gives us a solid foundation for meeting current and future regulatory requirements, including the CSDDD Directive, the provisions of which will come into force in Poland in 2029 – explains Karolina Gromke.

The experience of reporting according to EU standards translated into management conclusions based on an updated double materiality analysis, which helped the group identify the most important topics for reporting and better understand the mutual influences of the company’s activities on its environment.

– At Benefit Systems, we treat sustainable development not as a set of individual projects, but as a way of managing the company – with policies, processes and goals, the implementation of which we measure and report in accordance with ESRS standards. This approach allows us to combine business development with responsibility for the environment and society – emphasises Karolina Gromke.

This year, Benefit Systems is once again a partner of the Responsible Business Forum’s good practices report.

– For us, cooperation with the Responsible Business Forum on this year’s edition of the report is an element of supporting the development of ESG standards in Poland – both by sharing our own experiences and building awareness of responsible business on the Polish market – adds Karolina Gromke.
