Benefit Systems launches a special series of podcasts and a newsletter on HR topic, including creating a friendly work environment, which will be free of charge and involve recognised experts. The creator of popular non-financial benefits, in the company of such experts as Natalia Hatalska, Dr. Ewa Hartman, and Jakub Mauricz, will discuss current HR trends, wellbeing, motivation, as well as modern technologies supporting employees and employers. All this to draw attention to the wellbeing of the teams.
Crisis situations such as the COVID-19 pandemic have forced a new approach to creating a friendly, supportive work environment. Companies began to closely observe the changing needs of employees and look for solutions that will strengthen the extremely strained well-being of teams. According to the latest Aon Global Wellbeing Survey, 63% of companies around the world admit that the wellbeing of their employees has become more important since 2020.[1]
– Thinking about employee wellbeing has evolved significantly over the last few years. The global pandemic, inflation, geopolitical crisis, and the related influx of migrants – with each event, employers realised that if they wanted to take care of the wellbeing of their employees, their activities should cover another area. Today, companies increasingly realise that wellbeing is influenced by many different factors, and its management in the organisation requires a comprehensive approach. Wellbeing is like a system of communicating vessels, covering many aspects of professional and private life. This includes taking care of physical activity, general and mental health, nutrition, finances, and development, as well as the work environment itself – says Emilia Rogalewicz, Management Board Member at Benefit Systems.
Well-being needs a comprehensive strategy
As for Poland, the data indicates that for 71% of companies wellbeing is becoming more and more important, but 33% have not yet developed a strategy for this area.[2]
– If we want to support wellbeing effectively, we should act comprehensively, and this requires a coherent strategy and adequate solutions. This became the basis for changes also within our organisation and is reflected in the product strategy of Benefit Systems. At the end of last year, we completed work on creating an ecosystem of benefits that holistically support wellbeing and includes the well-known MultiSport card, the MultiLife platform and the MyBenefit cafeteria – says Emilia Rogalewicz. – The fact that one in three companies in Poland still do not approach employee wellbeing strategically is a signal that educational activities in this area are invariably needed. Therefore, to support employers in creating friendly workplaces tailored to current needs, we decided to combine over 20 years of our experience with the knowledge and perspective of recognised experts, creating a series of free podcasts and a special newsletter for HR employees and company owners, as well as all people interested in wellbeing – she emphasises.
