ESG strategy in business practice – Benefit Systems Group has published its 2025 Sustainability Report.

The Benefit Systems Group, which provides non-financial benefits and fitness services, is staying ahead of new European Union regulations and strengthening its environmental management. Among other things, it has introduced principles of responsible business conduct and set specific, measurable ESG goals. The key activities of the past year are described in the group’s latest report, prepared in accordance with ESRS standards.

In its 2025 sustainability report, the Benefit Systems Group confirms its high level of maturity in ESG management and its readiness for upcoming EU regulations. The double materiality analysis was updated by narrowing down the list of substantial topics, which not only fulfilled the requirements of the CSRD and ESRS standards but also supported priority-based management processes.

– Conducting a double materiality review helped us identify the most important topics to report on, but also better understand the impact of our operations on the environment, analyse potential risks, and identify opportunities we can capitalise on – says Karolina Gromke, ESG Team Lead at Benefit Systems.

The measures taken in 2025 were a response to both the results of the materiality analysis and the evolving legal environment. Among other things, the company has implemented a Responsible Business Conduct (RBC) policy and procedure, a new anti-harassment procedure, and guidelines for the use of AI systems within the company.

– Our RBC policy incorporates all due diligence areas included in the updated OECD guidelines. This gives us a solid foundation for meeting current and future regulatory requirements, including those under the CSDDD Directive – emphasises Karolina Gromke. – The new policy and the associated operating procedure help us prepare for the regulations that will take effect in Poland starting in 2029 – she adds.

The impact of corporate reporting on responsible management

The experience gained during the first year of reporting in accordance with EU standards also led to an update of the ESG Strategy, which is aligned with the group’s business strategy. Methodologies tailored to the business model were developed for key performance indicators, and baseline metrics were calculated.

– Through systematic collaboration with the finance and controlling departments, we have improved the accuracy of our carbon footprint calculations, which will enable us to manage our operations more efficiently and, ultimately, set decarbonisation goals. We are constantly modernising the facilities managed by the Benefit Systems Group to reduce fuel, energy, and water consumption, as well as to implement circular economy solutions. In terms of the adjusted gender pay gap, we can already boast a positive result of 4.9%, which falls within the EU’s recommendations (the so-called Equal Pay Directive) regarding the gender pay gap ratio, which encourage companies to reduce this figure to below 5% – explains Karolina Gromke.

These are just some of the initiatives under the 2026–2027 #BETTER_LIFE ESG Strategy. The company also lists employee and partner development through training as one of its priorities (goal: an average of at least 25 hours per person per year), maintaining a positive social impact through the activities of the MultiSport Foundation (goal: at least 35,000 participants in onsite events and 370,000 participants in online events in 2026 and 2027), and high ethical standards in management.
