Benefit Systems opens its 300th club in Poland. The group continues its expansion in the fitness market.
Over 2,500 square meters of space, specialised training zones, an extensive recovery area, and 24-hour club access – Zdrofit has opened a new facility in the Stella office building at 75 Przybyszewskiego Street in Kraków. It is simultaneously the 242nd Zdrofit-branded club in Poland and the 300th club in Benefit Systems’ portfolio.
The new Zdrofit club in Kraków is yet another facility in the network that demonstrates the direction in which Benefit Systems aims to develop the fitness market. The network increasingly combines training facilities with spaces dedicated to recovery, relaxation, and services supporting a healthy lifestyle. The facility offers both classic free-weight, strength-machine, and cardio zones, as well as specialised spaces designed to meet the increasingly diverse needs of those training there. These include the following zones: HYROX, Pilates Reformer, Fight (featuring an octagon and punching bags), Weightlifting, and Booty & Legs, as well as a cycling studio and a “Play” zone equipped with a ping-pong table and table football. Club members can also use a cycling studio and a fitness studio.
A key part of the facility is the recovery zone. It includes a relaxation area, two infrared saunas, a dry sauna, and physiotherapy services. Thus, within a single location, the user can combine training with recovery and rest.
When designing our clubs, we respond to our members’ needs. One in five new users of our Kraków clubs admits to exercising for better mental wellbeing – says Łukasz Gądek, Managing Director at Benefit Systems, Fitness Unit.

The Zdrofit club in Kraków is the 300th club in Benefit Systems’ portfolio and the 242nd location for the Zdrofit brand in Poland. On the same day, the network also opened a Zdrofit club at 4 Pastelowa Street in Gdańsk.
Zdrofit is already present in nearly 60 cities across Poland. At the same time, the brand is developing an extensive training offer comprising 160 group class formats, ranging from strength and functional training to Pilates, yoga, and relaxation-focused sessions.
According to Deloitte data, the European fitness market has surpassed 75 million members, reaching 75.5 million in 2025 (up 5.8%) across approximately 65,700 clubs (up 2.8%).
Compared to Western countries, Poland still has significant growth potential. Market penetration stands at approximately 8%, compared to around 14% in Germany and 12–21% in the Scandinavian countries. At the same time, one in three Poles states that there is a lack of adequate sports infrastructure in their area of residence. We want to change this by expanding our network of clubs and increasing the availability of modern facilities for physical activity, including areas outside the largest metropolitan areas. We are developing various club formats to meet the needs of residents in both large cities and smaller towns. We are committed to ensuring that physical activity is possible close to where people live and work, at times that fit the daily rhythms of life for residents of Poland – comments Łukasz Gądek.
