Robert Sokołowski appointed CEO of Benefit Systems
Effective 21 September of this year, Robert Sokołowski, manager with nearly 30 years of experience gained in the insurance, fintech, and strategic consulting sectors, will become CEO of Benefit Systems. He specialises in business transformation, the development of digital and direct sales, as well as building and scaling organisations in international markets. The remainder of the Management Board remains unchanged.

– The new CEO takes the helm while the current strategy is being implemented. He will continue to pursue its objectives and chart the group’s development for the coming years. Strengthening the existing business – developing fitness expertise, growing in international markets, including Turkey, and fully leveraging the potential of technology, both in the products used by our customers and in the way the entire organisation operates – remains the priority. At the same time, Robert Sokołowski’s mission will be to seek out new sources of growth for Benefit Systems. Robert Sokołowski was appointed by the Supervisory Board on 3 August 2026, effective 21 September 2026, for the ongoing four-year joint term of office of the Management Board, which began on 28 February 2025. The remaining members of the Management Board continue to serve in their current roles and areas of responsibility.
Professional experience

Robert Sokołowski brings in extensive experience in executing growth strategies and managing large organisations that operate based on a wide customer base and multiple distribution channels. He was responsible for business development across B2B, B2C, and B2B2C models, led operational transformations, and developed organisations operating across multiple European markets. He began his professional career at McKinsey & Company, where he executed strategic and operational projects for clients across several European countries and Australia for seven years. Then, as a member of the management board of Liberty Direct, he was responsible for developing the business using the direct model. In the following years, he built the Proama brand from scratch. Within four years, it acquired over a million customers and generated revenues exceeding EUR 125 million, eventually becoming part of the Generali Group. As CEO of Generali Polska, he managed operations generating over EUR 500 million in revenue and a customer base of approximately 2.5 million. He also gained international experience as the CEO of Croatia Osiguranje, the largest insurer in Croatia. Between 2018 and 2021, he served as Global Head of Direct at Zurich Insurance Group, responsible for direct sales across nine markets.
Since 2021, he has led Netrisk Group as its CEO. There, he implemented a buy-and-build strategy involving ten acquisitions, growing the group into one of the largest insurance comparison and sales platforms in Central Europe. Under his leadership, Netrisk expanded its operations to six countries, increased its revenue eightfold and its profit approximately five-and-a-half-fold, and grew its workforce from 130 to over 1,200 employees.
He is a graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics and the Master of Business Administration programme at the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
