Sports, fun and education – National Sports Day and open event in Warsaw.
On 14 September, from 11:00 to 18:00, the largest sports and family picnic in Poland will take place on the PGE Narodowy grounds to celebrate National Sports Day. The numerous attractions prepared by over 100 exhibitors will also include one of the largest zones of the MultiSport Foundation and MultiSport. Admission to the event is free, and the organisers encourage residents of Warsaw and the surrounding area to join in the fun and discover how enjoyable physical activity can be.
As data from the MultiSport Index 2024 survey shows, more than half of adult Poles do not meet the minimum physical activity standards recommended by the WHO (at least 150 minutes of moderate activity per week), and one in three Poles does not exercise at all. According to the World Health Organisation, developing exercise habits from an early age is crucial. Children who are regularly active are more likely to maintain an athletic lifestyle in adulthood, while also developing physical fitness and healthy habits that promote good posture, cardiovascular fitness, and wellbeing.
– Physical activity in Poland is still too low. That is why events that show that movement can be a joy, not an obligation, are so important. Our mission is to inspire whole families to be active. National Sports Day is a great opportunity to experience this – says Natalia Perlińska, spokesperson for the MultiSport Foundation.
Every year, National Sports Day shows that physical activity can be both fun and a way to spend time together as a family, while inspiring children and adults to discover new forms of exercise and a healthy lifestyle.
– We want children, teenagers and adults to see that physical activity comes in many different forms, from 3x3 basketball to sports activities that promote physical activity. In our zone, everyone will find something for themselves, and above all, they will see that exercise can be great fun, a shared experience and an investment in health – adds Natalia Perlińska.
MultiSport Foundation and MultiSport Zone
The MultiSport Foundation and MultiSport Zone is a space full of exercise, fun and unique sporting experiences for children, teenagers and adults. Participants can take part in exercise classes led by trainer Marcin Rybak, including stretching, functional training, exercises for a healthy spine and body & mind, as well as special training for seniors.
For those who want to test their reflexes and reaction speed, there are BlazePods and a reflexometre – professional equipment rarely available to the public. Outdoor enthusiasts can take part in games, skill competitions and movement challenges, and the chill-out zone with loungers is a great place to relax and recharge. Additionally, in the chill zone, animators will paint participants’ faces and creatively personalise prizes that can be won in games and competitions. In the MultiSport photo booth participants can immortalise their sporting emotions, and professionals will conduct a body composition analysis, providing practical tips on how to take care of your health in everyday life.
3x3 basketball – a dynamic version of sport
As part of the 3x3ZONE project, participants will be able to take part in short, exciting 3x3 basketball competitions and activities – a faster and more dynamic version of the traditional game. The classes are led by Kacper “Kacpa” Lachowicz, an experienced basketball coach and promoter who inspires children and young people to be physically active. This is an opportunity to combine technical learning, teamwork and great fun in a sporting rhythm.
The National Sports Day picnic is an annual event organised by the Zwalcz Nudę Foundation. On the PGE Narodowy grounds, participants will find hundreds of free sports and educational activities prepared by partners and sports associations.

MultiSport outdoor gym
The PGE Narodowy grounds is the sporting heart of the city, which encourages activity not only during National Sports Day. It also features a MultiSport outdoor gym available to adults 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The facility offers over 30 machines and accessories, typical of fitness clubs, such as a treadmill, elliptical trainer, multi-gym, barbell, punching bag, and rope. The weights can be adjusted to suit your level of fitness and individual needs. At the MultiSport gym one can perform a full spectrum of exercises, including strength training, warm-up, mobilisation and stretching. The gym is available to MultiSport, FitSport and FitProfit card holders (after generating a QR code in the MultiSport and VanityStyle Next applications with confirmed identity) and Zdrofit fitness network passes, as well as after making a cashless payment for a single training session.
The MultiSport Foundation, established by Benefit Systems in 2021, actively fights against hypokinesia, i.e. motor immobility, which the World Health Organisation considers one of the key threats to modern civilisation. The MultiSport Foundation’s activities constitute a comprehensive response to the challenges related to the lack of physical activity in various age groups. Its flagship programme is the Active MultiSport Schools, addressed to students between 12 and 19 years of age. As part of this programme, qualified trainers and instructors conduct sports classes for children and youth in modern fitness clubs, including the ZDROFIT network. The foundation also implements the “MultiSport classes with elements of corrective and compensatory gymnastics” programme,” focusing on the prevention of posture defects among children and the “Senior in good shape” programme, the aim of which is to activate physical activity and combat the feeling of loneliness among seniors through sports integration.
